The first part of the song Johanna from the Sondheim musical Sweeney Todd. A beautiful melody, sung by the clarion voice of Jamie Campbell Bower. The first part of the video sets up the song: a beggar woman lets the lad know the lady in the window who attracts his affections is the ward of an overly-protective (and as we later learn, mal-intentioned) judge. His determination grows.
